Yesterday was awful. The wind was blowing harder than I have ever seen it blow. Around 1:00 we noticed some smoke in the hills far away. At around 3:00 Andy came to wake me from a nap and he said, "You have got to see this!" When we went outside, this was the scene. It was crazy. The smoke was so thick. It was hard to breathe and our eyes burned.
Schools are closed today. Some people have snow days, we have fire days. Living in California is never a dull moment.
