Wednesday brought us to the Magic Kingdom aka the other Disneyland. There are quite a few similarities between the two parks, yet there were some differences too. Being the Disneyland expert that I am, I feel very qualified to compare the two. Let me explain the differences. To get to the M.K., you have to take a ferry or the monorail. Many rides at the M.K. are shorter like Pirates (only one little hill) and Haunted Mansion. Small World is inside a building like, say, Peter Pan. It does not have its own structure. There is no Matterhorn. M.K. has the land and space to have larger entrances and a much grander castle.
There were many similarities between the two parks. Main Street is pretty similar. The park is set up the same with the addition of Liberty Square. They have many of the same rides and attractions.
However, some rides were better at M.K. than the o.g. (That's original for those of you who aren't wickety wack like me.) Peter Pan was a longer, more detailed ride. Winnie the Pooh (Liv's favorite) was more detailed and had a section where the car bounced like Tigger. The most fun we had at M.K. was riding all of the old school Disneyland rides. They had the Carousel of Progress, the People Mover, and the Bear Country Jamboree.
There were no major catastrophes today. Everyone behaved themselves and we didn't see a drop of rain.

Did you all throw your hands in the ayer while on the og rides?
I think they have more things indoors because of the differences in weather. You couldn't stand the humidity in the summer otherwise. I love the Disney water parks in FL. Can't wait to see pics.
