El Capitan

We took the kids to El Capitan theatre to see Disney's A Christmas Carol.

Downtown was decorated so Christmassy.
As we walked into the theatre, we were handed our 3-D glasses and a jingle bell bracelet. What fun we were going to have!

Oh look! A Christmas show with all of our favorite Disney characters! We had a sing along, shook our jingle bells, and even got snowed on!
Then the movie started.
It was dark.
It was scary.
Olivia actually cried.
Bella hid her face in Daddy's sleeve for the last half hour of the movie.
Why Disney? Why? Why did it have to be so scary?
Consider yourselves warned.

Jim Carrey is scary whether he is the scrooge or not!

Thanks for the warning. I have been wanting to take the kids. Maybe not.

That is all I've heard about it, that it is scary and not for kids. But, in general did you like it? Was it good, minus the terrified children?
