Open House

4th and 5th grade have come to an end! The bad part of being a teacher at the girl's school is I miss Back to School Night and Open House. But, the good far outweighs the bad, so what are you going to do? Plus, we've got Daddy and Grandma and Papa to take over so, who need Mommy anyway? In 5th grade, besides seeing the work in the classroom, the students get to display their science projects. Everyone gets to come see the experiments and the students get the chance to explain what they did and how everything turned out. Bella's question was "Does water and movement effect weathering and erosion?" The answer is, yes it does! When combined, water and movement make erosion happen faster, but water alone also erodes matter! In 4th grade, the big focus is on California and the Gold Rush...look out! Olivia is WANTED in these parts! ;) The girls had another great year with teacher's they adore. We are one lucky bunch!
