Bass Lake

On Saturday, we headed to Bass Lake. It was pretty quiet there during winter. We stopped in the small town...I mean small town, and had a scoop of ice cream at 11:00 in the morning. That's what you do on vacation. What's even better, is that it was blue bubble gum ice cream. Two treats in one!

When we got down to the lake, my little sand digger was in heaven!

Daddy and the girls skipped rocks, panned for gold, and got muddy and wet anyway they could. (I sat on a log, freezing to death, taking pictures.)

The girls even found a perfect stage in the lake. Don't ask how they got there...their shoes will never be the same!

Even when you are a nature girl, you still find time to dance!

If you ask the girls, the best part of the day was eating lunch at the diner called The Forks Resort. They got a chance to sit at a counter and eat lunch. They thought they were hot stuff. Then, when daddy let them get ice cream for a second time that day...well, forget it. Totally the best day ever!
