Sporty Spice aka Bella, started soccer today. She had her first practice at the park across from our house. Andy had taken her earlier in the week to get her soccer costume...you know, the shoes, the socks, the shin guards, shorts, and shirt. She sure did look cute. She almost looks like she knows what she's doing, right?
Here's the team. They will be called the tigers. When Bella saw the (obnoxious) color of her team she happily declared,"Oh good! Now I'll look like the yard duties!"
Yes. Yes, you will.

whoa, whoa, wait a minute! you mean to tell me you get NO PREPS?! Don't your kids go to art, gym, music, library, etc.? When are the teachers supposed to prepare things? are you expected to do it on your own time, or do you work after the kids leave? please, explain, I'm so confused!

Oh, the joy of looking like a yard duty.
I like how Chi Town has not idea was a yard duty is. Because really, it's a California thing.
